Part 1 — The project
Intro
From curriculum to platform
The Sex Talk was created from my personal passion for sex education that is actually useful, engaging, and beneficial for students. Based on a research paper I conducted and a sex ed curriculum I wrote to implement changes I saw with existing sex ed solutions, I wanted to digitize my curriculum into an interactive and accessible platform, combining my interests in education and design.
Part 2 — Brand identity
Visual direction
Warm, inviting, and funky
I wanted the branding for the app to be warm, inviting, and funky to create a safe, friendly environment for learning. Accordingly, I explored bolder font choices and primary, androgynous color design choices.
